Join us for a hands-on cob workshop focused on foundational natural building skills. This immersive, two-day intensive will guide participants through the basics of working with earth—starting with how to properly fill and work with earth bags on Day One. Expect a very tactile, physical learning experience where you’ll get your hands (and probably your clothes) dirty in the best way.
Day Two will shift toward plastering and the final steps of the build, bringing everything together and exploring finishing techniques.
We’ll be working outdoors from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., so please bring a hat and wear clothing that covers you and can handle a bit of mess—it’s likely to be warm. Snacks will be provided to keep everyone fueled throughout the day.
Once the structure has had time to dry, we’re also imagining a cozy tea gathering in the near future to celebrate the work together—details to come.
